In line with our goal of extending quality healthcare to all within the Klottey-Korle constituency, I organised and sponsored a free health screening at the Osu Blogodo Gardens yesterday, in collaboration with Doctors from the group-Medical Women Association of Ghana. The services rendered included checking BP, malaria testing, blood glucose, cervical screening, general medical checks and referrals. Free medication was provided for all those who were given prescriptions especially, the elderly who needed to renew their prescriptions but could not for financial reasons. We also had dentists on site and ophthalmologists to examine people’s eyes.
