It was an honour being invited to participate in the International Disability Day Celebration 50 Meters Wheelchair Challenge for Kids. The way a society treats its vulnerable mirrors our humanity. People living with disabilities (PWDs) are an integral part of our fabric and must be factored into our development agenda. We cannot continue treating the wellbeing PWDs as an afterthought. Let’s be guided by the spirit of togetherness as the world commemorates International Day of People with Disability.
