Today, I led a delegation from Osu Ashante Blohum and the funeral planning committee to pay a courtesy call on H.E. John Dramani Mahama , Former President of Ghana, to officially announce the death of the former Mankralo of Osu, Nii Ako Nortei IV. This was following a courtesy call paid on me, as their Member of Parliament to officially announce his passing during which I was requested to lead the delegation to officially inform the Former President. We were welcomed by H.E. John Mahama and Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang. The members of the delegation were: Nii Otutu -Gyaase Tse, Isaac Nortey Manko-Secretary To Osu Gyaase, Richard Nortey Yebuah-Chairman Of Funeral Committee, Samuel Ocquaye Yebuah-Assistant Chairman Of Funeral Committee, Nii Apam Mensah- Otsiame To Osu Gyaase, Nelson Abbey Ashie, Tetteh Owusu – Son, Nii Ako Nortei IV, Adumuah Nortei – Son, Nii Ako Nortei IV, Victor Koranteng, Hon. Assembly Members George Annan (Kinkawe) and Noble Kinnah (Odawna).
