Speaking at the Hope Minds Women’s World Conference

I had the honour of addressing participants at the Hope Minds Foundation’s Women’s World International Conference, held at the Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium, UPSA, under the theme: “When Women Rise, Economies Grow.”

As a Member of Parliament and lifelong advocate for female empowerment, I spoke about the power of boldness. I urged women to show up fully, unapologetically, and with conviction, while emphasising the importance of setting healthy boundaries in both personal and professional spheres.

A vital truth

I also underscored a vital truth: real change requires male allies. We need men to stand beside us to challenge the status quo and help shatter the glass ceilings that persist in many spaces.
It was especially inspiring to engage with visionary young individuals, whose energy and solidarity reaffirmed the collective strength of women.
Finally, I was pleased to share this platform with remarkable speakers such as Dr. Philomena Dadzie, Dean of Students at UPSA, and Oheneyere Gifty Anti, CEO of GDA Media Ltd.
