Visit Various Royal Houses in the Constituency Overview It was a pleasure to visit various Royal Houses in the Constituency, last week.Per tradition, we made donations to our Mantsemei, Wulormei, Dsaase and Asafoatsemei and in the Klottey-Korle Constituency in preparation of this year’s Homowo celebrations to ensure the continuity of culture, cultural richness and community harmony.

Homowo Bodyfest 2023 powered by Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, MP in partnership with IRON MAN Supplements between Adabraka and Osu YouthBodybuilders from the Osu sector and the Adabraka sector have united to showcase their abilities, raise awareness about the sport and to highlight the importance of using the right supplements. Ironman supplements presented to all participants with special prizes to the winner, 1st and 2nd runners up.

International Youth Day 2023 Overview In commemoration of International Youth Day 2023, I spoke at the African Business Center for Developing Educations’s (ABCDE) engagement on the theme “Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World”. This forum did not only provide an opportunity for participants to listen to my contribution, but it also gave the youth an opportunity to share their perspective and beliefs. Donated Biodegradable and FDA Approved Sanitary Pads Overview Sanitary pads are essential menstrual hygiene products and not luxury items. According to UNICEF, approximately 1 in 10 girls in Africa does not go to school during menstruation, in other words, affected girls miss about 10% – 20% of their annual school days. Factors attributed to this observation include the extremely high cost of sanitary products, cultural restrictions during menstrual period and insufficient education.For this reason, my team and I, donated biodegradable and FDA approved sanitary pads that are made in Ghana to support the needy girl child’s well-being and education in […]

A Visit to Examination Centres in the Klottey-Korle Constituency Overview My team and I, led by the Director of Education for the Korle-Klottey Municipality, Circuit Supervisors and Examinations Officer spent the morning visiting examination centres in the Klottey-Korle Constituency. I must say that witnessing the hardworking students in the midst of their 2023 BECE exams was inspiring and brought back memories of my BECE in 1992. Donation of Hospital Beds at the Tema Station Clinic Overview The Tema Station Clinic is a hospital facilty right in the heart of Accra, a popular hectic commerce and public transport station in the Greater-Accra Region. In my capacity as a Medical Doctor, and cognisant of the importance of a favourable health infrastructure contributing to the general well-being of a nation’s people, I donated hospital beds to the busy infirmary to help meet the health needs of patients in a dignified manner.

A Visit to the Osu Government Maternity Hospital Overview I paid a visit to the Osu Government Maternity Hospital in my constituency. It was lovely spending time and conversing with the nurses. I was very elated to see that the medical equipment my office donated to the establishment in 2022 had not only been useful to the facility but had also been maintained adequately. This is proof of the fact that getting accustomed to a stringent maintenance culture in Ghana is practicable.

Celebration of the annual Salah Durbar Festival the Muslim Community in Adabraka, in the Klottey-Korle Constituency Overview Under the auspices of the Adabraka Zongo Chief, the Muslim community in Adabraka, in the Klottey-Korle Constituency, celebrated the annual Salah Durbar Festival past weekend. The cultural, religious and equestrian festival celebration was attended by many dignitaries including our National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Usman Nuhu Sharubutu. The objective of the durbar was to unite the Adabraka community and to promote peace.
